February offers plenty of options for travel as you can choose between warm, sunny climates and stunning snow covered mountains. Whatever your preference, we have rounded up our favourite destinations for Feb. Go on, take a look and remember we are just a click or call away.
Enjoy Sunshine & Warmth in...Malaysia

When thinking about Malaysia, most people only think about Kuala Lumpur. However this small Asian destination packs a lot in. With so much more to offer than a large city, you can easily enjoy it for a two week break. Enjoy a mix of bustling city, historical sites, incredible beaches, stunning scenery and fantastic food.
In Feb, the west coast offers plenty of sunshine and blue skies, making it a great option for a warm break from the cold Northern winters. This is one of the driest times of the year, with temperatures around 30 celsius. It is humid, but with the gorgeous beaches on offer that will be the furthest thing from your mind.
Head to the gorgeous island of Langkawi, where you can enjoy one of the best hotels in Asia – the Datai Langkawi. Not just a beach destination, those looking for more adventure can explore the inland rainforest, where you can spot a number of different animals. You are at the beach, so enjoy all the water based activities too. And for those looking for a bit of romance, sit back and enjoy postcard perfect sunsets with a cold cocktail in hand.
Another beach escape option are the Pangkor islands, which is home to the stunning Pangkor Laut resort. A secluded tropical hideaway, which is on a private island and surrounded by rainforest. It also offers overwater villas for a real treat.
Experience the History & Culture of...Venice

Italy. In February. You might think we are crazy, but bear with us. With cool weather it makes it pleasant to walk the winding alleys and cruise the canals without the oppressive heat of the Summer. If you want to experience it without the crowds, go in early Feb before the carnival. If revelry, action and people are more your scene then there is no better time than during the iconic carnival.
While St Marks square may be one of the most famous sights in Venice, there is so much more on offer. Almost every building has a story to tell. It is a city that is steeped in history and art, with a tradition of theatre and opera. Actually made up of almost 120 little islands, connected by over 400 bridges, Venice is a fascinating city that is unique in its design. Filled with A must do for anyone with an interest in history or architecture.
To get a glimpse of a Venice that no longer really exists, cruise over to Torcello island. One of the most northerly islands, it was the first to be settled in the 5th century. By the 15th century it was all but abandoned. Now it has less than 100 people living on it but it is worth stopping in at Locanda Cipriani for lunch. Host to Charlie Chaplin, Ernest Hemingway, Prince Charles, Lady Diana and many more.
Burano island is known for its brightly-colored houses, which have been painted by the fisherman who live in them. It is one of the most beautiful islands in Venice. Murano is world famous for its glass, so no surprise that it is packed full of glass blowers. The trick is going to the right places to meet the real masters, obviously we can help with that.
Just like everywhere in Italy, food is a key aspect of any visit to Venice. Filled with charming cafes, restaurants and hole-in-the-walls, the best advice is to wander aimlessly and keep trying places you stumble across.
Reconnect with Family in...Egypt

A true bucket list destination, our recommendation is to do this with the kids when they are a bit older. Egypt is filled with incredible sights and fascinating history, so you definitely want everyone on board and interested in the destination. Sights like the great pyramids, the spectacular carvings of Abu Simbel and the intricate detail of the temples in Luxor all await. Feb is a great time as Egypt gets so hot during summer (over 50 celsius), so the mid 20s in Feb are an ideal temperature for exploring all the amazing sights and monuments.
Such an adventurous destination deserves a fun and adventurous itinerary. Channel your inner Indiana Jones as you discover the incredible achievements of the Ancient Egyptians. Treasure hunts, assisting with archeological digs, biking, Nile cruises and much more are all fantastic adventures for families. Having an expert Egyptologist really brings the history and more importantly, the stories to life for you. Discover what life was like in the time of the Pharaohs and how their politics put our modern day soapies to shame.
Egypt also offers a number of very family friendly beach resorts which are the perfect finish to your busy days of exploration. Avoid the more well known Sharm El Sheik and head to Hurghada or El Gouna, which are more low-key and less chaotic.
Get off the Beaten Path in...The Dolomites

Our list is not all about warm destinations as Feb is one of the best months for ski destinations. Europe is home to many amazing ski areas that are very well known. However this month we are focusing on the Italian Dolomites. A lesser known ski destination that has it all – huge terrain, varied ski runs, amazing food, stunning scenery and a surprising lack of international visitors.
The closest international airport is Venice, so can easily combine with a few days in the city. From there it is a 3hr drive to the heart of the Dolomites and your winter paradise. A UNESCO world heritage site that is made up of 12 valleys to form the Dolomiti Superski area. It is the largest ski area in the world with over 1,200km of slopes. We know many resorts make the same claim but trust us, this place is big!
Throw in the delicious Italian food accompanied by the excellent wine from the Trentino region and you have a winning combination. The area is made up of quaint villages with local restaurants and simple but welcoming accommodation. Although Aman is opening up in the region, taking over the iconic Rosa Alpina. Skiing in the Dolomites is less about apres ski and more about being in a stunning environment with plenty of space, snow and laid back charm.
For the really adventurous, you can enjoy a ski safari. Ski from valley to valley, staying overnight in cosy mountain refugios (chalets) while your luggage gets transported for you. All you have to do is enjoy yourself.
Take a Quick City Break in...Copenhagen

A wonderful, small European city that has great transport, beautiful architecture and a rapidly evolving food scene. It is ideal for a quick city break if you are looking for a change of scenery. Whilst a more compact city, it packs in a lot including world-class restaurants, museums and attractions.
The winter time is a wonderful time to stroll the streets of Copenhagen as they are decked in fairy lights and covered in snow. Scandinavia has a world wide reputation for design and nowhere is this more evident than in this lovely city. Around every corner is a fascinating sight, design or structure.
Part of the charm is just wandering the city, but there are a few highlights you have to include. Start with the incredibly photogenic Nyhavn, filled with colourful houses and bobbing boats. Climb the Vor Frelsers Kirke in Christianshavn, it’s 400 steps to the top but the reward is a stunning view over the city. For some fun and hands-on activity, visit the Experimentarium which is a science museum filled with interactive exhibits. At the end of the day stroll into Tivoli gardens which is lit up with endless fairy lights, coloured bulbs and lanterns creating a magical setting.
As you would expect in a design oriented city, there are a number of beautiful boutique hotels to stay in when in Copenhagen. We can assist with making sure you are in the right area and stay in a hotel suited to your tastes.
